On this escorted day tour from Lahore, learn more about Sikhism and the First Guru of the Sikh religion, “Baba Guru Nanak.” After breakfast at your accommodation, you will be picked up and driven to Kartarpur. The Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartar Pur was constructed as a memorial to the alleged location of Guru Nanak’s death and 18 years of similar living. For Sikh believers, this is the second holiest location on earth. The Pakistani government recently rebuilt the shrine, making it one of the largest Gurdwaras in the world. Every day, thousands of people go to the site.

We’ll travel to Nankana Sahib to see Baba Guru Nanak’s Gurdwara Janam Asthan. The Pakistani town of Kartarpur is situated on the western bank of the river. Near the ancient town of Dera Baba Nanak in the district of Gurdaspur, Punjab, Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib is located in the Pakistani district of Narowal, 4.5 kilometres from the international border.
